CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) has secured a S$200 million linked loan (SLL) from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. This increases CLINT’s sustainable finance to S$1.16 billion, which is 79% of its total loans. The SLL will be used to refinance CLINT’s existing revolving credit facilities (RCFs). It will open up additional RCF availability, reduce CLINT’s finance costs and further diversify its funding sources.
Clint has chosen two main performance indicators (KPIS) for this SLL. KPI 1 is to reduce its IT business park portfolio’s absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 40.5% from the baseline of 2019 during the five -year loan term on December 31, 2023.
KPI 2 is the three selected IT business park to get the excellence in the design for more efficiency certification? International Tech Park Chennai, Cyberwell and Avons Pune, by 2026.
