In a remarkable demonstration of planning, coordination, and execution excellence, RMIX Concrete and PSP Projects Limited successfully completed a massive 2,000 cubic meter slab concreting operation in just 18 hours at the upcoming Palladium Mall project near Anuvrat Dwar, Surat.
What makes this achievement particularly significant is that it was not a conventional raft foundation pour where concrete is primarily deposited into a confined area. Instead, it involved the casting of a single large slab requiring continuous placement, precise leveling, finishing, and quality control throughout the operation. Industry experts note that executing 2,000 cubic meters of concrete in a single slab without any construction joint is a first-of-its-kind achievement in Surat.
The record-setting operation was carried out through a joint effort between RMIX Concrete and PSP Projects Limited. Of the total 2,000 cubic meters of high-grade M45 concrete placed during the operation, approximately 1,200 cubic meters were supplied by RMIX Concrete, while the remaining 800 cubic meters were executed by PSP Projects Limited’s concreting infrastructure and team, demonstrating exceptional collaboration between the two organizations.
The operation involved nearly 300 transit mixer movements, supported by six concrete pumps and more than 40 transit mixers operating simultaneously. Completing such a large-volume slab pour within a limited timeframe required seamless coordination between batching plants, quality control teams, logistics personnel, pump operators, engineers, supervisors, and site execution teams.
This milestone further reinforces RMIX Concrete’s position as one of South Gujarat’s leading ready-mix concrete companies.
