To honour the sanitation heroes who work hard every day to keep Surat city clean, the country’s leading FM network 92.7 BIG FM, operating in 58 cities, organized the ‘BIG Swachhata Heroes 2025’ program. Organized with the strong support of the city’s leading real estate developers, the program gave special recognition to the heroes who kept Surat at the top of the National Cleanliness Survey.

The BIG Swachhata Heroes 2025 program was successfully concluded with enthusiasm and pride at the Kratos Club in Surat. Organized by 92.7 BIG FM, the program honoured the sanitation workers, teams and various organizations who work hard every day to keep the city of Surat clean.
92.7 BIG FM is a popular and leading FM network in Surat, Gujarat and India with its fans. BIG FM keeps on doing programs that celebrate the contributions of industries and society and BIG Swachhata Heroes 2025 was also organized in this series.
This year, the program got special significance because Surat has secured excellent ranking in the cleanliness survey of the country.
Surat city, as the cleanest city in India, performed best in the “Super Swachh League” as per the latest Swachh Survekshan conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and was felicitated by the Honourable President for the excellent sanitation work of Surat Municipal Corporation at a special program of Swachh Bharat Mission organized at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi.
These achievements show that Surat is continuously ahead in cleanliness, systematic waste management and disciplined city management. The heroes behind this success were felicitated by 92.7 BIG FM.
The program was attended by teams from all zones of SMC, city leaders, employees of the sanitation department and several collaborating organizations.

The sanitation teams of Central, North, South, East, West, South West and South East zones were felicitated for their excellent service.
The teams including Sanitary Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, Mukhadams and Safai Kamdars have done excellent work throughout the year. Their daily efforts keep Surat at the top of the cleanest cities in the country.
