Responding to readers’ interest, we are pleased to present his inspiring journey in our ‘Young Visionaries’ column.
What inspired you to choose real estate as a career?
Since childhood, I always felt that among life’s fundamental needs, “a home” is the most important. When a family gets their own home, it is not just a project—it holds their dreams, security, and future. From the trio of Bread, Cloths & Hosing (Roti, Kapda, and Makaan), housing is the one element that truly transforms lives. I wanted to do something that directly impacts people’s lives. That is what drew me to real estate.
Are you a first-generation developer, or is this a family business?
Real estate is our family business. Growing up in a business-oriented environment helped me understand the industry early on. My family’s support gave me a strong platform, but it also brought responsibility—not just to preserve the legacy, but to expand it. That blend of support and responsibility motivated me to work even harder.
At what moment did you realize real estate was your true calling?
During my college days, when friends discussed business and entrepreneurship, I was fascinated by the stature, style, and social respect developers commanded. Their vision, leadership, and ability to contribute to society truly inspired me. That’s when I knew I wanted to step into a field where foresight, leadership, and impact come together. That moment made my decision clear—my future belongs in real estate.
The most valuable advice you received when entering the business?
The very first advice I got was: “Work with integrity and loyalty.”
These two values form the foundation of our brand. Real estate is an industry where people buy your reputation before they buy your project. Trust must never be compromised—this principle has guided me throughout my journey.
What major challenges do young developers face today?
Today’s generation is caught between two worlds—
On one side, the experienced, stable, rule-driven older generation;
On the other, the fast-paced, modern, tech-savvy Gen-Z generation.
Balancing the expectations, thought process, and working style of both halves is the biggest challenge for young developers.
How do you deal with these challenges?
My working formula is simple:
“To the new generation—technology and modernity.
To the older generation—stability and trust.”
We adopt technology-driven systems, modern design, and transparency to appeal to the youth, while timely delivery, quality, and honesty help win the trust of the older generation.
The biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
In business, every four or five years brings new challenges. Therefore, never take on work beyond your capacity and avoid excessive borrowing. At Anthems, our philosophy is clear:
“Work only within your capacity—without depending on external funding.”
This approach gives us stability and long-term growth.
Which project are you most proud of?
Every new project we create, we aim to make better than the last one. Our dream is to build a modern landmark that transforms Surat’s skyline—something that adds value to the city’s identity.
How has your education helped you?
Education shaped my analytical thinking, planning discipline, and ability to assess risks. It taught me how to evaluate decisions rationally. Most importantly, it instilled the habit of continuous learning.
What new trends will define the future of real estate?
Modern villa communities, high-rise sky towers, clubhouse culture, high-end lifestyle, and technology-driven living will define the next decade. Community-focused developments are also on the rise.
Who is your role model in the industry?
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel—inspiration for leadership, unity, and selfless service. His determination and discipline represent qualities every leader should strive for.
Your inspiration outside real estate?
Dubai—especially its systems, discipline, and infrastructure. It is a living example of how the world can build a futuristic city from scratch.
What changes do you expect in the coming decade?
Luxury real estate will grow rapidly. Community-based projects will become common. Better planning and transparency will become essential.
What is your long-term vision?
To place Anthems not just on the map of Surat or Gujarat—but on the global map. We aim to build a global footprint through quality, commitment, and innovation.
Which upcoming opportunities excite you the most?
Solar energy, IT, e-commerce, and high-tech infrastructure hold tremendous potential. The future society will be shaped around these sectors.
Your favourite global project?
Burj Khalifa—the structural vision and precise planning behind the world’s tallest tower is extraordinary.
Your favourite travel destination?
Dubai—for its growth, discipline, and futuristic approach. It always inspires me.
Your hobbies?
Travelling and spending quality time with friends—it refreshes the mind and brings renewed energy.
Your biggest challenge and how you handled it?
The COVID-19 period was the toughest challenge. Liquidity stopped, business halted. But instead of dwelling on setbacks, we rebuilt everything from scratch, strengthened the team, and revived the company. That phase taught me that positivity, mental strength, and honesty are true weapons in crisis.
Your advice to young aspirants?
Learn first. Do not jump into business without mastering the basics. Real estate is a vast field—give time to knowledge.
How do you stay updated with trends?
By constantly interacting with friends, colleagues, senior builders, and real estate media platforms like yours. You learn something valuable from everyone.
Describe your dream project.
A landmark that brings pride to Surat and strengthens the city’s identity—that is my dream.
